Il est facile de se sentir dépassé par cette œuvre et c'est tout à fait normal : Bekëth Nexëhmü nous fait traverser le blizzard avec un mur de sons infranchissables ; le chant y est saturé, inhospitalier. De Svarta Riterna est à la fois mélancolique, glacial, grandiose : c'est un maelström de black metal atmosphérique qui fait valser onirisme et pur cauchemar. Swartadauþuz est le genre d'artiste capable, qui sur une simple démo, est capable de remettre à sa place tout le black metal moderne.

Au fond du vortex, un autre vortex... Sur la forme, Rehearsal XI est une reprise à l'identique de Urkaos I, mis à part "VII" qui est composée pour l'occasion. Mais sur le fond, tout change. La production est plus réverbérée et cosmique qu'autrefois. Swartadauþuz se fait aussi accompagner de Nohr à la batterie qui ne nous laisse pas le temps de respirer tant il est rapide. Et surtout, l'agencement des pistes est bouleversé comme si la logique n'avait plus aucun sens. Noirceur totale et infinie...
